In a house built in the 1930's, sutton design eliminated the sequence of small, square rooms forming the rear, long axis of the house. The resulting space, while gloriously favored by the sun, had to be zoned into a kitchen, TV area, and formal dining. The cabinets perform that work and respond to the client's interest in furniture of different periods.
And yes, the wet zone sits bang in front of the non-operating side of the new sliding glass door system.
